I need prayer

Brothers & sisters in Christ,

I don't normally make such an open request, and since I am the first to post in this section, I guess many of you don't either.

I have heard it said that if Satan isn't attacking you then you aren't doing anything for God. It so happens I have been increasing my teaching and witness of Christ in the last couple of months. And now my family has a situation that is common - but not any easier.

My husband is facing losing his job. Even in a good economy, that is bad news. We are waiting to hear news by the end of this week.

Although I know none of you personally, I hope we can all agree to meet in heaven so that I can thank you personally for all prayers and support.

Please pray that my husband would have God's favor resting upon him in all matters concerning his employer. Please also pray for my husband - he is the sole breadwinner and we have two little ones counting on us - he is feeling the strain.

And know this: I will not stop teaching and witnessing of Christ even if we lose our home, our friends, or our family.

May God bless you.

Praying!!!

Life is full of trouble, but the Lord will not test us beyond our limit.

He loves us...Daddy cares.

Also, remember that no matter what happens, God's timing is perfect.

I am sorry to report that my husband lost his job today. Thank you for any and all prayers.

I ask all further prayers for my husband to find another job quickly, and that the Lord would provide for us.

I may have to be absent awhile in the online community.

God bless.

Hi securitymom,

Sorry to read the news but keep the faith as you are doing. God never gives us more than we can handle. Many times the only way to the better path is to step off the old path. Perhaps the Lord is leading your husband to better paths. I will keep your family in my prayers. Hang in there; the Lord will provide.

Peace,
Seeker
