Gomer and the US

Postby David on Wed Jul 09, 2008 7:52 pm

You know many here particularly U.S. citizens wonder of the role of the United States will be in the days to come. I was reading some literature regarding the sons of Noah. It is thought interesting the descendants of Gomer settled throughout Europe a.k.a. Celts. Granted the U.S. is a melting pot but I'm thinking most settlers of this country are of European descent. Leading me to think the U.S. could be included in the bands of Gomer.

On the otherhand...

the ships of tarshish come against the king of the north. These ships, unlike the coastal boats traders of that time, were considered as larger ocean going able withstand the rigors of off-shore and long distance voyages. Seeing as how the U.S. Navy has the ability to reach out and touch someone from anywhere in the world this may be a role too.

Doubt I'd find a definitive answer it's just a thought.

Sorry if this is a rehash of previous discussions I don't often have internet access to keep up the latest here

Ok Im a moron, I sat down to read again today and I came across again the 'ships of Chittim' a.k.a. Kittim as I have done so many times in the past when reading Daniel. I imediately said to myself, "self, now how did you ever manage to write about the ships of tarshish in the above post?" It's supposed to be the ships Chittim. Now making my question of a possibile U.S. Naval involvement I now suppose less than nil. Sorry. However regarding Gomer and all his bands I think it still stands as a possibility for the U.S. involvement though nothing very specific is ever mentioned.

Upon reading further Javan's sons Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim and Dodanim are part of the families of Gomer thought to have been migrating throughout the Indo-European continents.

Hi David,

Kittim/Chittim is considered by many to be Cyprus. Half the island is currently in the western (Greek) camp. The other half was recently liberated by Turkey (1974 I believe). Tarshish can refer to ships or voyages in general. The location for Tarshish could be Spain or the European coastline. I have seen some good evidence for Spain. In that sense both Kittim and Tarshish point west. It is also interesting that Dedan is included. Dedan is most probably Saudi Arabia (Currently a western ally). The actual bible locations align pretty well with today's political landscape. All the surrounding nations of Israel seek to destroy her and all those against the AC seem to be western. The political picture painted in the bible seems to match today's rather well.

Hello all,

I was surfing the web the other day and found this link http://www.logon.org/English/s/p265.html I do not agree with every word and certainly don't understand anything about DNA sampling but it did get thinking of a few things.

Cyprus it seems doesn't have a navy capable of doing much of anything other than getting in the way of a missile and sinking a few feet from the dock. Last count they had a whopping 24 exocet missles in inventory and 3 land based launchers. Shoot, I could probably take the island and hold it for 48 hours with my old k43 rifle 10 rounds ball ammo and two dogs. :)

What if it is the ships of Kittim but not from the island known too as Kittim but from the descendants of Kittim. Joel a few days ago posted an article about some new alliance in the Med. And according to the article I linked the desendents of Kittim were thought to have migrated and settled in the southern portions of the European continent (they had to go somewhere). The borders of the Med Alliance appear to involve some if not all of the areas described Kittim is thought to have settled aswell as those belonging to the king of the south it got me wondering if that alliance could play a role in the last days.

It also got me thinking about the 'bands' of Gomer and the 'house' of Togarmah. Bands and House sounds like more than just a land encompassed by imaginary borders but of a whole family. Since the flood descendets from Noah particularly Gomers sons later migrated into the european continent and there after I would think move into the Americas. Family dynamics seem to play a big part in biblical history and thought what effect that would have on the dispostion of the U.S. towards Israel in the last days

I know its broad and wafer thin but figured Id throw it out there
