"Study" Bibles are IMHO a waste, mens ideas and commentaries added to what God has already written only cloud the truth. Don't sit in the pew like a sheep being told what truth is. Get a simple Bible with just God's printed word in it. But that alone will not help. I think it imparative you be able to seek the truth together someone, to talk with one another about it. Thats when we begin to uncover God's word.

Agreed.

Study the Bible on your own. Use blueletterbible.com or esword and write your own commentary. The Holy Spirit will guide you. And, you won't be clouded by other men's writings.

Oh, and I'd recommend either NASB or KJV.

It is good to just begin reading the Bible you have and allowing God to speak to you through it.

I have been reading the Bible for many years and only yesterday a new insight was revealed that has been hidden from our understanding for many years.

It was an End Times Prophecy for Israel and what will be acceptable from Israel at that time.

Oh, Make sure you also work on your relationship with God as you grow in your understanding of His Holy Word.

Shalom

Depends what topic(s) you want to focus on. Are you interested in learning the interpretations of other Christian sects? Or in studying the original languages? Or are you interested in learning the historical & cultural backgrounds of the Biblical authors?

I can give you list...
